Back in 2014, Cameron Diaz said she had “never been to the Philippines” before. But these international celebrities have—multiple times, at that—and it fills us with immense pride to witness our islands leave them utterly awestruck from start to finish.

Whether they’re here for business, pleasure, or both, the country’s natural wonders carry an inimitable radiance that unearths a curious, thrill-seeking side to our favorite Hollywood stars.

In the limelight, these award-winning names are locked in as ever—no fussing, no dilly-dallying, just pure dedication to their craft that cameras effortlessly capture. But once they step out of the spotlight, a steadier, calmer life awaits them beyond the entertainment industry’s hectic demands. And whenever they crave the precious calm that stages, crowds, and red carpets can’t give them, they can always trust the Philippines’ tranquil lands and waters to have it by the handful.

In true Filipino fashion, hospitality has also been at the heart of these celebrities’ carefree getaways. As local communities welcome them with open arms, our go-to vacation spots and tourist attractions become places of solace for visitors worldwide, famous or not, who seek a refreshing escape from reality.

From pristine private islands to culturally rich cities, these international celebrities’ vacations in the Philippines prove that a little zest for life goes a long way. If you’ve always wanted to book a domestic flight for the holidays, let these heartwarming experiences be your sign.

Kim Kardashian

On October 16, 2026, Filipinos were abuzz with glimpses of Kim Kardashian’s vacation in Amanpulo for her 46th birthday. The socialite and businesswoman stunned in sizzling hot photos on the beach, where she basked in the Philippine sunlight, went snorkelling, and watched fireworks by the shore. Anne Curtis, Ruffa Gutierrez, Gabbi Garcia, and many more local celebrities were delighted to welcome her and celebrate her special day.

Beyoncé

Every Filipino deserves to experience Amanpulo’s breathtaking beauty and mouthwatering delicacies firsthand, and Beyoncé’s fun-filled time there proves it. “Queen Bey” joined Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Madonna, and Mariah Carey, among other Hollywood A-listers, who flew via private jet to the elusive island for some much-needed relaxation.

Zac Efron

Zac Efron and his father David immersed themselves in epic adventures around Bicol, where they stayed for three days in September 2012. The duo had the time of their lives trying all sorts of high-energy activities, including windsurfing, water-skiing, traversing nature trails via all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and tasting some of the region’s finest sisig meals.

Margot Robbie

This Barbie may not hail from Palawan, but she definitely knows her way around. In an unforgettable 2015 experience she likens to “dying and going to heaven,” Margot Robbie made the most of her two weeks in the Philippines, especially El Nido, with a wholesome itinerary that even the locals could get behind. Her jam-packed agenda featured ziplining in Bohol and cooking for children with the Rise Above Foundation in Cebu.

Intak of P1Harmony

In more recent news, Hwang Intak of Korean pop (K-pop) boy group P1Harmony had an eventful vacation in Cebu with his younger brother a few months ago. Intak’s YouTube vlog and Instagram archive document his vibrant days in the bustling city, where he swam, shopped to his heart’s content, went sightseeing, and reconnected with nature.

Soobin of TXT

Filipino MOAs had a field day earlier this month as Tomorrow by Together (TXT)’s Soobin shared memorable moments from his quick visit to Manila. His feel-good vacation vlog comprised adorable fan interactions, a fulfilling pickleball session, hilarious anecdotes he overheard from locals, and glimpses of the Philippines’ restless city life through his eyes.
