Philippines among top performers in APAC AI governance report

The Philippines scored 69.6 out of 100 in the APAC State of Digital Trust: AI Governance Benchmark Report by verification service company Sumsub. The report measures how well organizations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) are managing and overseeing their use of artificial intelligence (AI) based on three pillars: autonomy, responsibility, and traceability. The country was second among Asia-Pacific markets in AI governance and above the regional score of 67.1, trailing only Thailand. It also tied Thailand for the region’s highest responsibility score at 74.8.
